| Health care |
| Coverage for all health care benefits starts from the first day of the full month of employment with Vertex. (E.g. If employment starts on January 15th, the coverage will begin as of February 1st.) |

| Medical Insurance |
| Employees and their dependent family members (if desired) are covered under their choice of HSA or PPO plan. PPO is a premium plan that offers comprehensive coverage for health care. HSA plan is self-managed health savings account plan. |

| Dental Insurance |
| Employees and their dependent family members (if desired) are covered under a choice of two PPO dental insurance plans. Employees can choose the plan according to their family requirements. |

Short Term Disability
|
| Short Term Disability benefit is applicable to all full time US employees (US citizen or resident working in the US for at least 40 hours per week.) The cause of the benefit should be non-occupational. The benefit begins from the first day of injury and can be for a duration of 13 weeks. There is no cost to the employee to enroll in this plan. |

| 401(k) |
| Employees can start contributing to the plan, on a pre-tax basis, as soon as they join Vertex. After 6 months of continuous employment with Vertex, company will match 25% of employee contribution and up to 6% of the salary or a maximum of $2,000 per calendar year whichever is lower. |

| Vacation Time |
Employees can get up to 2 weeks of paid vacation per year. The vacation days increase with service based on a schedule.
