Today I woke up in Vegas and kicked off the first day of Sitecore Symposium 2017. While I am excited to be part of this annual mecca for me, I am also heavy at heart from the tragedy that unfolded here two weeks back. At the Sitecore Symposium, between the three tracks packed with interactive sessions, keynotes from customer experience and marketing strategy experts, a showcase of the partners, and networking events and parties, there's no shortage of activity.
No matter the vertical or industry you belong to, I believe that every business is a customer experience business. And, to drive this, companies must align their marketing needs and technology solutions in a way to offer customers an experience that isn't confined to just one instance, but one that spans a customer's lifetime. To say that Sitecore is an ideal platform while you are aiming to personalize each customer interaction would be an understatement. With Sitecore 9.0 ready for release, there're no limit to the experience every business can offer its customers.
There are many new-age marketing strategies, backed by state-of-the-art-technology, that are fighting it out to capture customers' attention. It is no longer about the standalone product or the standalone 'mesmerizing' ads to influence customers' decisions; rather, it is about the entire experience that controls the buying journey – it's about the business of experience. We, at Vertex, completely understand the need of today's' customers and are excited to be part of the Sitecore eco system.
