Venkit Raman, a.k.a Venky Raman a.k.a Venky, just like his many names, plays several roles at Vertex. As the CEO, he is constantly looking to increase value to our customers, create niche technology practice areas, and of course grow our customer base. Although he’s relatively new at Vertex, he loves working here because “… of its unwavering dedication to customers, extreme focus on quality, entrepreneurial culture, and the agility in problem solving. I believe that Vertex has the right framework to become a big business without losing the personality of a small business, and that’s what excites me.”
Even when he is not at work, Venky is thinking about growing the business! Watching and playing tennis with his son and buddies, listening to classical music, and spending time with his family are |
|
|
| his next top things to do. Venky has a Master’s Degree in management and Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology School of Management, and previously worked as the CIO and Country Manager for a Tokyo based Telecom Service provider. |

Since starting here at Vertex, as a Business Development Manager in 2010, Don has been reaching out to companies to share the Vertex story and our core IT offerings.
Here’s why Don enjoys working with Vertex, “No two days are ever the same at Vertex. One day you could be meeting new people and the next day working on a project for a potential new client. The learning curve has been on a 90 degree angle, straight up. I’m particularly intrigued by the way Vertex takes information from multiple platforms, integrates the data and provides the end user with meaningful information.
I think the Vertex staff is very creative – they take the time to listen to the customer, understand the need |
|
| and the business drivers so that they can deliver a first in class solution” |
|
| When he isn’t at Vertex Don is either with his family or outside working in the garden or fishing. Don is a football fan and enjoys watching his sons play the sport, or fishing with his daughters. |
| |
| Don is a graduate from Ohio University where he earned both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees. Prior to joining Vertex, Don worked for a division of Cincinnati Bell and then in the not for profit space for an affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council. |
