Quality Process
Vertex takes quality seriously, viewing quality as a process
rather than a symptom. Our Process and Quality Management
Practice helps clients get to the root of software quality
problems, lowering the cost of ownership with software that
delivers the right functionality, performance, and service
levels.
Vertex gives tremendous importance to both Quality Assurance
and Quality Control. It is underlined in our effort to continuously
reduce the Cost of Quality. Each Project that has come out
from Vertex is a testimony of the importance that Vertex gives
to Quality. A dedicated team of process experts in Vertex
makes sure that every project goes through a process that
is well tailored to enable Quality Delivery. Process Training

CMMi
Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMi) is a process
improvement approach that provides organizations with the
essential elements of effective processes. We are using it
to guide process improvement across a project, a division,
and the entire organization. CMMi helps integrate traditionally
separate organizational functions, set process improvement
goals and priorities, provide guidance for quality processes,
and provide a point of reference for appraising current processes.
CMMi is an internationally recognized process model
for quality assurance in software design and development. Vertex is currently assessed at CMMi maturity Level 3.
ISO 9001:2000
ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized quality standard
for quality assurance in software design and development.
Vertex currently adheres to the software standards specified
by ISO 9001.
ISO 27001:2005 – Information Security
Management
ISO 27001, titled "Information Security Management -
Specifications with Guidance for Use", is the replacement
for BS7799-2. It is intended to provide the foundation for
third party audit, and is 'harmonized' with other management
standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The basic objective
of the standard is to help establish and maintain an effective
information management system, using a continual improvement
approach.
