What is Verification?

Verification, also commonly known as Quality Assurance (QA), is the set of activities a software project has to go through to ensure that the system being built is complete and stable, and meets its specifications. A system that has been assured of Quality reduces the total cost of a system over its lifetime and at the same time significantly increases customer satisfaction.
